The Participant acknowledges that the drones may fly within less than 30m of the Participant before, during, or after the event and, by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, authorises this use by the Event Organiser and or their subcontractors. I understand that I will receive emailed or texted race information in advance of this race so I know exactly what is happening.
Post-race I will be added to the Central Event database primarily containing information on this Event. I understand that I can unsubscribe to these email communications at any time. Please note that we do not share your data with any third parties with the exception of the timing companies. See next point. If I do not wish this to be published I will contact the Race Organiser in advance of the event.
I am also aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I have satisfied myself and have taken appropriate medical advice that I am properly prepared and fit to participate in this Event. I agree that the Event Organiser or associates are not liable for any expenses related to medical treatment given to me at the Event, medical transport to or from the event and any subsequent medical expenses incurred by me post or prior to the event.
I also agree to refrain from any behaviours that puts myself, fellow competitors, stewards or associated parties involved in the race at risk. I also understand that unless stated race materials will not be posted out to me in advance of the event. Go out, be active, and most of all enjoy!
Half Marathon Walkers are requested to be at the start area at 9am for a 9. The Start of the Race — Aid stations are at Km 6.

Do entrants get a training top or medal? Half Marathon only get tops. Tops not included in 5 mile fee. Can I walk the course? Are we running on sand on Bull Island? Half marathon ONLY. It will be just like running on any hard surface.
There is a machine used by DCC to manicure the sand so it will be ideal. The 5 mile is all on hard surface. Will I get an official time for my race? We are using timing chips. You will receive one at Number Pick up. It is attached to your race number. Can I raise funds for any chosen Charity? How to get to Clontarf Promenade by Train? These include an Arts Centre in the Red Stables, featuring artists' stores and studios, a coffee shop and markets on some weekends, along with a large rose garden which is located alongside the Gaelic Athletic Association pitches.
Clontarf also has access to the North Bull Island at the area known as Dollymount. The island contains the amenity of Dollymount Strand as well as two golf courses. The island is also famous for its wildlife, and the lagoon and mudflats between the island and the mainland is a favourite spot for birdwatching.
